Easy@home opk issue

Help! ok I’m having some issues on when to read the easy@home opk’s in the instructions it says not to read after 5 minutes, well last month my opk was negative at 6 minutes (I always wait an additional minute) it turned positive at 10 minute mark and I in fact did ovulate the next day.. if I would’ve thrown my opk away I would’ve thought it was negative and missed ovulation. Today I tested and at 6 minute mark my opk was .30 I waited a couple of minutes more and it darken to .45, now I’m thinking if I should just read my opk’s at 10 min marks from now on.. last week I was feeling really wet and even had spotting like I usually do with ovulation but never received a positive opk.. I’m starting to think I could’ve missed it by tossing it and not waiting the 10 min mark :/
