IUD or Implant?

Question

I’ve been think about both recently with my boyfriend. I also really want to have safer?? Unprotected sex if I want to. But I know myself well enough that if I take the pills I’m going to forget a lot of the time. And I want something easy. Is there anything I should know before making a decision on either? What’s your experience?

I had my first implant for the full three years and god a second inserted just a few months ago and I absolutely love it. To me, nothing beats the peace of mind you get from using such an effective method. I’ve had minimal spotting and for the first few weeks with this new implant I did notice some mood swings that I didn’t have before, but I figured it was just the new raise in hormones from having the old implant taken out and a new one put in. But I’m feeling perfectly normal again now lol.

I had the implant with no issues.. not even bleeding. Got it taken out and got pregnant that month. I am getting it again on Thursday
