4mo suddenly hysterical?

My 4mo is has been very fussy the last 2 days. He will suddenly get into these screaming fits, I know he’s hungry but he’ll refuse breastfeeding. Sometimes he won’t be fussing much, basically just enough to say he’s hungry & I’ll get him into position to nurse & he’ll start crying. I know my supply is still good. If he’s like really screaming I have to try to calm him & try again multiple times because then when I’ll lay him down he’d start crying again. I’m getting worried. I know my supply is not the problem, I have more than enough in that department. I don’t see teeth coming in yet either. I have no idea what’s going on, anyone else go through something similar? He’s normally such a happy baby, I hate seeing him like this when I have no idea what’s going on 😩

Edit: he’s not weaning. He has plenty of wet & dirty diapers. He also doesn’t take a bottle unfortunately. So I’m not sure that that is it. I may call my dr tho to see if they have suggestions, thanks for the advice!
