I have 2 sons that I formula fed from birth and now I’m having my 3rd child in March. I am considering pumping milk and giving by bottle(I just won’t breastfeed) and I’m wondering if anyone has experience with pumping with pierced nipples? Do you take them out, clean your nipples and then pump and put them back in or what? I’ve had them done for years and have never had an infection or anything. I’ve never planned to breastfeed, but figured I would maybe give pumping a try this go around along with supplementing with formula. I can’t find any information online about it and I’m not even sure a lactation consultant or my doctor could help me with this, lol.
