To share or not to share?

Just got announcement pictures today to announce our pregnancy. I am 16 weeks. But I also just found out that my husbands cousin lost her baby. I don’t know when exactly she lost it (her pregnancy was still a secret at the time so I wasn’t supposed to know about it) so if it was like a couple days ago, I definitely don’t want to do it yet, but if it was about a month I might feel more comfortable doing it. I was going to post the pictures this evening to tell our friends and extended family but now I feel bad doing so. Thoughts?

If she didn’t share the information directly with you then I would say you’re not close enough to worry about it. Maybe just filter who can see and make it to where her and her SO can’t see the post? 
This is coming from someone who has had both an early MC and a full term stillbirth. Honestly it might suck when she finds out, but regardless, people don’t stop getting pregnant, having babies and losing them just because you’re going through something. 
One of my friends lost her baby at term 4 months before I did, and my best friend had her baby 3 months after I lost mine. The world doesn’t revolve around a loss, and unfortunately that’s something everyone who’s suffered one has to eventually come to terms with.

That’s a tough one . Do what feels right in your heart . As a loss mom , pregnancy announcements always sting a little , but we do take it better when our close friends and family tell us privately before a social media post usually .
