Lease?

My husband and I are both on the lease but we are splitting up, he is in the military and is leaving in a month to Hawaii, my question is If i still want to stay at the apartment without him there is that fine? Our lease is due to end at the end of january but i wanted to renew the lease? He’s always mentioning taking his name off the lease which is fine.. I just wanna be able to still stay there.

Depends on the lease, your income, and apt. Talk to your landlord. My last alt for example if my husband was taken off the lease for me to stay there I had to show the 3.5X my monthly rent for income alone. If I didn't meet it I would have needed a cosigner or to find a new place. Apt before that as long as I could pay the rent and you were in good standing (no late payments while you lived there) you could stay on since you were already approved. Hundred possible different situations but good luck and hope it works out!!
