What should happen with these accounts

I was on Instagram and this girl i went to school with posted a page that was made about school gossip saying that it’s not cute or quirky. I told her I saw that page too and I don’t like it. That made me wonder how many pages there are made about the town I live In so I searched the town name and I saw a lot. I know there’s also a Facebook page made by the mothers in my town and they talk about what happens in town not as like a news page but a gossip page. People complain about them a lot and say it should be shut down in which I agree to. Isn’t there some sort of law against this type of stuff if I’m not mistaken?
