Ring opinion please

So today I walked out of our jeweler so upset and crying.

My husband and I have only been married almost 3 years. When we got engaged we purchased all 3 of our rings for a total of 14k plus some other jewelry for another 500. Safe to say we've spent a lot there. In our beliefs the rings are to last forever and never to be replaced once they are blessed on your wedding day. We choose gold because of that knowing it could be resized and it was timeless.

When we got engaged my engagement ring lost diamonds right away. So we took it in. The ring had to be replaced we were told it was defected when we bought it than had it resized. So we then ordered a new one in the correct size.

In total now in 3 years I have lost at least 7 diamonds in just the engagement ring. I am a stay at home wife and take it off before I do anything so I baby it.

My husband only can wear his ring on weekends because of his work. With 5 months of being married his gold band started to crack. Solid yellow gold band actually had breaks in it.

A few weeks ago I took all the rings back to the jewelr to be fixed. They told me they could replace all the diamonds and fix the cracks in my husbands ring. Today when I went to pick them up my husband's ring was not the same. It had so much new gold added to it they actually took the finish off and made a textured band into a solid polished ring. We've had so much work done to our rings in 3 years nothing at this point is orginal.

The jewelry has recommended at this point we just pick out new rings all together. That the ones we have are under warranty however they will continue to break. These rings are a symbol of our marriage. I called my husband at work and explained the issues. He is more mad then me as what the rings mean to him too and how so fastly they have fallen apart with how much we've spent.

What would you do if these were your rings? We feel as though half the time we can't wear them as there are cracks or missing diamonds.
