Painful sex and brown spotting

Hey all 👋

So last week after my husband and I had sex I had serious cramping for like an hour I was in quite a bit of pain. Pain has stopped but we just had sex and when I went to wipe off I noticed some brown discharge, very little, but still. I am mid cycle, calendar says I should've ovulated last week so I doubt its implantation. I think the two may have something to do with one another. Cysts maybe? Also I had 2 miscarriages in the past year and we've yet to find out exactly why. Does this sound like something anyone else has dealt with? Opinions? Please help!
