Who’s responsible for staying in touch, planning things with HUSBAND’s side of family?

My husband’s family is always contacting me about when to get together, ask me to send him over to help them with something, discuss holiday plans, ask me to make sure he calls them, etc.

I appreciate being involved and being reached out to however, sometimes I feel like everyone assumes I’m his secretary. Like they forget he has his own phone they can call. Like I need to drop everything I’m doing to figure out something that involves my husband, not me. It’s really not a burden and yes I can and do absolutely tell them they can give him a text or call. But in your opinion, is this just something a wife does? My family doesn’t contact my husband for these things. They directly contact me. Just curious what others think! Not really asking for advice.
