Shoes or Socks?

FTM - might be a stupid question but whatever
My son is 12 months old this month, doesn't walk yet so he doesn't wear shoes. But we love in MN where it gets really cold, so whenever we are out and about I just double up on socks for him. I guess my question is, should I start putting on shoes when we go out or is doubling socks okay?

Fleece booties! I do socks and the fleece booties when we are out. They have no structure which is good for their development, they're warm and most have the little grip dots on the bottom. Usually $10-20 on Amazon

You can do fleece slipper socks/booties over the sock. They are cheaper and easier than shoes. I’d buy the ones with grippers at the bottom so baby can stand in them easier.

I’d just keep doing that! I personally love the little moccasins for extra layer plus they’re good for when they’re learning to walk. Plus cute
