For ladies who have had 2+ vaginal births. If you ripped/episiotomy for your first, did you also for your second? Or have no problems the second time?

I've had three vaginal births. I tore with the first baby (who had a 14 inch head.) I retore with the second baby, who had a smaller head, 21 months later.
My third was born 21 months after the second as well. I did not tear with him even though he also had a 14 inch head and I'd torn twice before.

Epi on first and the completely fine on my second i did massage the area where my epi was during the second pregnancy so i think that helped- also second baby was bigger!

I had an episiotomy with my first(she is now 5) and just had my son in June and rode with him

My first I had an episiotomy and my second i didn’t trip or tear and I got to pull him out myself! I also didn’t have to be in stirrups which was really helpful I think

Tore both times, but waaayyy worse with my first - three crazy long 2nd degrees that went up into my vagina. My second I think there was one? It needed a couple of stitches, but the healing was crazy fast.

I tore for each birth until I read to push baby out slowly. I always pushed baby out in a couple pushes and a matter of minutes. Then I had my fourth baby, pushed her out slow and steady and did not tear. Much nicer recovery.

4th degree with my 1st, just a teeny tiny one with my 2nd that I didn't even feel

Had 3 stitches with my 3lb baby and 12 stitches with my 5lb baby
