Yes, but I don't think he will successful though. For 1 thing he always shows his hand and is incompetent.  Besides that the military is loyal to the Country not the leader.

It's troubling, but not unusual. I don't know that he's actually planning a coup because he constantly fires people he believes are unloyal. He had already indicated prior to the election that he was going to fire Esper right after the election. 
I also don't think a military coup is likely at all. Even if Trump tried, I don't believe the DoD would support.

It’s concerning but not because I think Trump could actually successfully attempt a coup. I think that these choices are being made in order to impede the ability of the BIden administration to have a smooth transition and hit the ground running. Republicans love fvcking things up and then then blaming the democrats who come into office next to fix it.
