Unexplainable Hives?

The last 3 or 4 months I've been randomly breaking out into hives. I have never had an allergy to anything (I'm 24). And the hives are usually isolated to my right hand/wrist, occasionally I'll have some on my chest.

The only jewelry I wear are my engagement ring and a watch, but both are on my left hand/wrist- yet the hives are on the right. I am a dominant right-hand person so I guess it could be from something I handle, but I never noticed a trend of when I get them (sometimes at home, sometimes at work). They usually go away overnight, but it has been about a week since I've had relief and I'm not sure why. No other allergy symptoms with it.. just itchy hives!

Thoughts? Suggestions? Should I go to my PCP or a dermatologist? Thanks!
