Do you ladies let your babies nap at any time

Question

My LO is about be 4 months and some days take a nap around 5ish should I consider that bed time or it’s a nap. Well I suppose what I’m asking or saying is 5 to late for a nap?

I never really put a nap schedule in place especially when she was young, they nap alot... now that shes 19 months old and naps only once a day I try to keep her up as late as possible because if she naps to early, she gets tired and cranky way before her bedtime but if she wants to nap I wont fight it, I really started to notice  that routines becoming more important the older she gets.

My baby is 3 months old and just fell asleep for a nap at 4:55pm. When he naps this late he usually only sleeps a half hour or so. He goes down for the night at 7-730pm and then sleeps til about 5-6am.

We do until about 6 months old with our kids. By then they seem to have formed a natural nap/sleep schedule that we then use to make a set schedule that we stick to. It's worked out well for us, but the most important thing is to do what feels right for you and your family.

My 5 month old takes a nap around 5:30-6, sometimes 7 if she’s giving me a really hard time and then bed time is at 8-8:30 but she only takes hour half naps.

We don’t do sleep schedules or training. It’s only common in America, and I personally could never. Let them nap whenever, especially since he’s so young!

My daughter gets home from daycare around 430 and definitely needs a nap otherwise she is incredibly fussy and ready for bed way too early. However, I don’t let her nap past 6:00pm. Her bed time is 7:30-8:00pm.

My son is going to be 5 months next week and I’ve always let him nap whenever he got fussy which is basically almost always every other hour after his feeds. He sleeps about 30mins to an hour each nap but sleeps through the night with maybe waking up once if he is hungry.

I always let my kids do what they did at that age but my kids were naturally solid sleepers.
