My boyfriend and I want to have sex. I’m still a virgin but he’s not. I feel confident in doing this but I just needed to clear up some things first.

How do I ask my partner to get tested together? Without sounding like I’m accusing him.

Is it usually a blood test and where can you go?

Also, what is the most effective NON-hormonal contraceptive? Is it okay only to use condoms? Please share if you have experience with this.

And for those who do use hormonal contraceptives, how has it affected you?
