Curious- medical question
So I had a colonoscopy done the other day. The anesthesiologist had just put an oxygen mask on me as I've never had any past surgical issues with anesthesia. Well after the procedure the nurse told me that I need to be tested for sleep apnea because I was snoring loud in the procedure and the anesthesiologist had to put something in my mouth...I was super drowsy while she was telling me but I asked if they put it down my throat (intubate) she said not all the way just a little bit but past few days since my throat would hurt when I swallow things...was i actually incubated?
