Paraguard (copperiud)

So a little back story. I hadn’t been sexually active in about a year. Then I met someone and we slept together after getting to know one another but we were still at that awkward stage where I didn’t want to ask him what happened. So we have pretty vigorous sex twice in one night. The second time I noticed he jumped out of bed and headed straight for the shower. I headed straight to pee and saw blood on my toilet paper because I’m weird and always look at it before I flush. Anyone else experienced this? I already went to the dr and explained it to her and she gave me her opinion but I’d like to know if anyone else went through this as well. Thank you in advance!
