sorry guys, i know this isn’t the place for this but i can’t find anything online. i got my belly button pierced on friday, and it’s now monday. so 3 days ago. it’s a bit swollen still. and it hurts if i bend over or it touches something. is this normal? it also has a little bit of crustys forming around the top and bottom. i’m mostly worried about the swelling. ive added photos, any advice is welcome, thankyou for reading!

It looks very normal at this point, it’s still early and your body is treating it as a foreign object or wound right now which is where the swelling and crusting comes from.
Soak it every night in 1 cup of warm water with 1 tsp of sea salt, not table salt, dissolved in it. This will help draw out anything in the wound that shouldn’t be there (from clothes lint to bacteria or whatever it may be) and then dab- do not wipe!!- with a paper towel or piece of gauze. Over time that should prevent infection and promote proper healing.

It looks like it’s healing normally. Just make sure you’re cleaning it with salt water spray or you can make some at home. A little tea tree oil goes a long way, as well. My belly piercing was like this for a couple months, but I realized it went away when I stopped playing with it and moving it around. If it gets any worse it’s probably your body rejecting it and I would suggest taking it out.

It looks fine and a little irritated, but that's normal. It's a fresh piercing. Try not to touch it or clothing rubbing on it. Try spraying H2ocean on 1-2 times a day. I'd say once a day should suffice but up to you and your comfort.

I had a belly piercing a year ago I miss it lol but I think that’s normal ? just be sure not to change out your piercing too early like I did and let it heal completely, I changed mine too early and the next morning it fell out and my hole closed 🙄

I’ve heard concerns about belly button piercings so I’ll repeat what I learned. It’s still quite early in recovery so your body is still treating it like an injury. If you keep it clean and dry it may settle by the 1 month mark
