Holy temper tantrums! 🤯

Ever since my girl turned 13 months old on the 9th, it’s like a switch went off and she has turned into a monster! She has always been super happy, rarely cries, and is not very clingy. Now all of a sudden she throws massive temper tantrums where she gets so worked up she can’t catch her breath. She freaks out over every little thing. It’s hard because we can’t tell what she wants all the time and if we don’t figure it out on the first try it’s an instant meltdown. She also wants me to hold her a lot now and if I don’t, then it’s the end of the world. Changing her diaper is impossible. She wants to roll around on the changing pad and if we don’t let her, she screams bloody murder. We have resorted to changing her on the floor, which she seems to be somewhat okay with for now (it also gives us more leverage to hold her down).

Wonder Weeks says we are in between leaps and this should be a “sunny” time. Lies. 😂

Any advice for this first time mom? I’ve read everything from comforting her when she is like that so she knows I’m here for her to just flat out ignoring her so she knows that behavior isn’t going to work. I’m at my wits end!
