Waving and pointing?

Are anyone else’s one year olds still not waving or pointing? My son is 1 year and 1 month and still doesn’t do those 2 things yet. He knows how to clap, high five, and bring us books he wants to read. I try and sit him down to work on those things, but he doesn’t sit still long enough for me to really get It across to him. He is a very busy boy and goes from one task to the next quickly. I know all toddlers learn at their own pace, but I thought he would do these things by now.
