Do I open gifts on Zoom baby shower?

My mom started planning a Zoom baby shower for me, but basically hasn’t had time so she told me to figure it out after she sent the Zoom invites out.
I’m a very shy introverted person.. so a Zoom focused on me is already making me nervous even if it’s friends and family.
What do I do to fill the time block? What do I talk about? Do I open the gifts on camera or is that rude?

Attended a zoom baby shower this summer. Friends did open gifts on zoom. It was fun. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. 
The host also did a children’s literature trivia which was a fun way to spend the time.

I wouldn’t even have anything like that over zoom . I have such bad anxiety when it comes to that , I have a drs appt this Friday over webcam and I am not looking forward to it at all !!!

I did open up gifts i also played games and we sat on zoom and talk it was actually fun .. turned out better then i thought

I did. There was nothing else to do lmao. I didn’t like it honestly but I know my family was trying to be nice. It just pulled focus away from the people at the shower itself.
