14weeks cervix feels soft and open??? Should I go to ER??

Question

I’ve been having cervix pain for a few days on and off. 
I asked my doctor earlier and he said it’s normal.
But when I got in the shower tonight I checked my cervix and it feels open and soft.
Idk what to do.. 
help???!?

You should absolutely never check your cervix when pregnant

You shouldn’t be self checking, you are introducing bacteria into your body that could lead to infections. No doctor checks a cervix until at least 36 weeks until it’s overwise indicated.

I wouldn’t go to er u less you have some concerning other symptoms. 
I’d just call your doctor tomorrow and try to get in and have them Check.
I check my own cervix too. If you’re familiar with doing it. And clean about it it isn’t an issue.
I was 1cm and knew it and asked them to check me due to lots of Braxton Hicks and mucus plug loss. Confirmed at 23 weeks I was 1cm but not effaced and nothing to worry about.  Granted it’s my 3rd baby . 
I’d just call . If you start spotting or contracting then I’d go to the hospital.

The ER?? Are u having serious bleeding or are u in unbearable pain? If no, then no.
