I wanted to take my mom to Europe but she’s too ungrateful to go...

I’m sorry to post here but I don’t know where else I can vent... so me and my SO of 6 years are planning a trip to Europe for my graduation next year and we wanted to take our parents. My mom is now complaining that she wants to go to Europe with me alone because she doesn’t like my father in law. She keeps saying how she’s going to be ignored and angry because we’ll be going with everyone, and not just her. I think it’s selfish of her to act that way since I wanted to take her on a trip she’s always wanted to go. I finally told her that if she didn’t want to go, she didn’t have to, to which she responded “Why didn’t you convince me to go?” It angers and saddens me that she’s being this way, trying to make everything about her... am I crazy for feeling like this?
