Best vacuum cleaner?

I’m trying to get the house all cleaned up before my baby arrives. That being said my bf and I previously had a dog that we kept in doors now I’m choosing to place her outside because I don’t think she’s kid friendly and I’m not willing to take that chance with a newborn in the house. So I’ve been looking for a good vacuum to help me clean up stains on the couch and carpet and all the hair our dog has left behind. Do you guys have any advice on a good vacuum that will do the job but won’t break the bank either? Thank y’all 😁
