MIL pestering us to come over for Thanksgiving

Ke

I am 9 weeks pregnant and we have already announced to everyone. We were invited to Thanksgiving lunches at both my mom's house and my MIL/FIL's place and told all this week that we wouldn't be coming 1. Because we don't want to take any unnecessary risks with Covid and 2. Because we have been sick this past week (not covid) and still don't want to get others sick with what we had. Furthermore, being sick has made us realize just how much we don't want to get covid even if it is mild.

Anyway, my MIL just sent us the following message: Happy Thanksgiving! We are eating around 3:30 if you are feeling better! Love you all!!

I've come here to rant because it's so ridiculous to me that they won't let this go or consider how irresponsible this is. We live in the midwest where cases are skyrocketing and MIL and DIL just 3 days ago came back from a vacation in FL (were just in an airplane and airport). They don't seem to see any risks with sharing tight space with a pregnant lady or MIL's 80 year old parents (WHO ARE GOING, btw).

Do you guys think I should say something? I don't want to be rude but my God how do they not see what they're doing
