Heart palpitations
Was just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with heart palpitations (PACs for example). I am having horrible ones, which landed me at a cardiologist twice (once during my pregnancy and once now 4.5 months post partum). They’ve said I’m fine and they are harmless but they are honestly terrifying and I’m having a hard time trusting that. It feels like my heart is a fish inside my body flipping around. It’s also hard to rest at all because they get so bad when I lay down. They happen for multiple hours at a time, and also happen every single day. I’m having a hard time trusting I’m “okay”. I was prescribed a low dose of labetalol beta blocker to try to help them. I’m 2 days in on the meds and no luck yet. I don’t know what I’m looking for, maybe just to see if anyone else has experienced this. I can’t help but have scary thoughts like what if this is AFib and they don’t find it? They didn’t even do an EKG on me last time I went in, and I’ve never had an echo done either.
