How often to bathe a newborn?

How often do/did u bathe ur newborn?  Also how long should a bathe take? Don’t want to dry out skin too much by overdoing it.

1-2 times per week. I'd say each bath was about 10 minutes.

Depends on the day and season.  Usually every other day.  Every day in hot weather.  Just long enough to get baby clean.  Follow with good baby lotion.  My son is mixed so washing his hair every other day dried ot out bad.  Now we just wash once a week but rinse and recondition every bath.  Hes also 4 now so bathing more often for longer and still lotion him up.

The nurse always said they dont go to work so they dont get dirty. I made the mistake of bathing my daughter everyday and now she has eczema so 1 to 2 times a week is fine and a quick wipe down everyday with a flannel or cloth

1-2 times per week was recommended to us as a newborn. We scheduled it in once per week as we always ended up doing it more often due to the odd huge vomit or poop explosion.
Once our LO was a bit older we did every second night.

We’ve been doing 1-2 times a week since she was born (6mo now). Depends on how sweaty she is/spit up/stinky. I don’t keep her in the bath much longer than it takes to clean her
