How was your labor?

Question

37 weeks today and starting to get scared. Spent the night in the hospital due to high blood pressure but didn’t get induced, we stabilized it! Now I’m curious to know your stories?! Let me know how it went and what not. Thanks ☺️💕

I had my son 37wks exactly, my labor was quick as hell! I woke up pooping around 2am day after Thanksgiving not knowing it was the start of labor. Figured it out when I was contracting around 9am got to the hospital 11:40 after not being able to get ahold of my Dr office and baby was born at 12:17pm! Suuuuuper quick but nice because I went home the next day lol.

i got induced at exactly 37w didn’t actually give birth till 37+3, i had the balloon put in at 3:30pm on dec 1, 24hrs later it was taken out and i was 3cm dilated, our hospital made us wait another 24hrs till we got our waters broken and could start labouring. due to pre eclampsia i was encouraged to have the epidural straight away, so i did. it was amazing. and would definitely recommend, just because it was easier to sit thru then it would have been with contractions. power to you if you go natural tho! was about 11hrs of labour, which was pretty much painless apart from feeling some pressure which required an extra epidural dose as my block wasn’t working on one side. pushed for about 40mins, but did require forceps as the doctors were concerned her heart rate was dropping, which meant i had an episiotomy and lost half a L of blood. however i don’t think it was too bad as i’m feeling fine now, and have my little bebe🥺
