Contractions 2-3 minutes apart after sex? 38w4days

I’m being induced at 39 weeks but since 3:45am I have been having strong contractions every 2-3 minutes lasting about 1 minute each. I’ve had them before after sex but didn’t ever think to go in and get checked out since it was still very early on. When is a good time to call L&D or go in? I don’t wNt to go in and get sent back home but also don’t want to risk having baby at home lol, my cervix hasn’t been checked so I’d don’t know if I’m dilated or not. I haven’t had a bloody show or leaking water.

I went to L&D a few hours after sex because it started heavy contractions. I was dilated 3 cm (and had been for a week or so prior). They ended up sending me home because my contractions eventually slowed down while they monitored me and I was told that sex can make you contract but no be enough to get you dilated. They actually had me walk around for an hour because if I made it to 4 cm they would have kept me but I wasn’t dilating any so they sent me home. I would still go in and have them check you to see if you’re dilating or have any other signs as well. I couldn’t go by contractions because I was constantly having them the last two months.
