How do you feel about Theon? Brother is Silas Michael

I love the name Theon and I think it sounds nice with my first sons name (Silas) how do you think they sound together? 
Also I am aware of the name Theon being in GOT & I honestly don’t mind because if we stayed away from every name in a book, movie or show we wouldn’t be naming our children anything lol

I mean, there’s a difference between staying away from every name ever used in a book, and a name that was basically made up from a book.
FWIW, you could to a lot worse, but I wouldn’t do it.

My best friends son is called theone with an e which also spells the one. GOT wasnt a thing when he was born but i say do it mumma if you like its its your choice x

I like it! My brother is expecting his son and I told him to use that name because it is close to his name and they don't want a JR.

I voted dislike before reading the whole post. Theon and Silas both remind me of characters from books that I didn’t like. 🙈 But you’re totally right, and otherwise i do think it’s a nice name. If you love it and don’t mind the association, go for it!
