Pumping at night?

Hello! I have twins who are 3. When I tried breastfeeding them, the hardest part was waking up to pump throughout the night even though they were sleeping through the night. I stopped breastfeeding after about a month. BUT now I’m pregnant with twins again and am REALLY wanting to breastfeed longer this time. Does the need to pump every few hours at night go away after a while? Or will I have to do that as long as I breastfeed?
