Photographer Help

Any professional photographers, or those with a consistent hobby of photography, out there who can help me out? I’m new to this and trying to grow and learn. I’m looking for a camera to start up. I’m not really sure where to start, what to look for, what lenses to start with...? Any recommendations? From my research, this is NOT a cheap hobby if you really want to succeed long term and make a business out of it. So what is the best to start out with, and then add on more expensive lenses and stuff later on?
