Jaundice?

My baby is 5 weeks old tomorrow. I feel like she is still jaundice looking. We saw her pediatrician on Friday and she didn't seem to think so. She is bottle fed breastmilk. She's also very colicky which has been a nightmare. Anybody else have a breastfed with still some jaundice?

My baby girl too, she is 4weeks old (1month) but still having jaundice. I’m breastfeeding and I read that will take much time to get out all the jaundice.

Yep! My twins had breastfeeding jaundice. They’re 6 weeks now and one was hospitalized for a day. I was told they could still be a little yellow a few weeks after treatment

A little yes. Our daughter was also born coombs positive which typically has higher chance of jaundice also. But the doctor isn't concerned as she's eating and wetting/making dirty diapers really well.

My daughters pediatric said it usually takes longer for the yellow color to leave their face/eyes. . My daughter still looked jaundice in the face up until about 4 weeks. She takes vitamin D drops and we kept her in the sun as much as possible and that helped clear her a lot faster. If you’re still concerned have her pediatrician test her levels.

My son still has a little yellow and he is almost 6 weeks. Is she getting vitamin d drops every day? Breastfed babies can still have mild jaundice for 6 to 12 weeks after birth. Though I would check with her pediatrician to make sure her levels aren't too high.
