My son is 13 months I have no period and I am still breastfeeding but phasing out...
What is the best way to track ovulation in my situation? I want to get pregnant ASAP but it seems completely random?

It will be completely random until you get that period. You can have multiple LH surges in a normal cycle but it is the mid cycle one that indicates ovulation. Best bet, without a period, is to have sex every other day.
Otherwise to instigate your period are birth control, sudden reductions in milk production, or eating a lot (tricks your body into thinking it has all the nutrients it needs).
