Cbd for dogs?

If anyone has ever used it for anxiety in dogs, does it help?! We have a 4 year old lab mix and his anxiety is through the roof when we leave or in the car. We have home cameras and he will bark and whine the entire time we’re gone. We leave the tv on, treats, a light, blinds open so he can see out, we ever tried the sleepy time treats. Most times he won’t eat any of the treats until we get back so it defeats the purpose. We can’t take him anywhere with us because his anxiety is just as bad in the car. I feel awful for him and I was just wondering if the CBD treats were worth looking into, or if anyone has some they recommend? Our vet has pretty much said it’s normal but If I can make it even a little better for him, I want to. TIA!!
