Topiramate & TTC

I’m wondering how many of y’all continue to use your topiramate while TTC and while pregnant? My neurologist made it sound like I should stop taking it once I get pregnant, however, my gynecologist saw it on my file and didn’t say anything about stopping. I saw on several different websites how it can cause the cleft palette/lip, so I understand the risks of taking it during the first trimester, just curious what y’all’s doctors recommended to y’all? TIA.
