TRIGGER WARNING BLOOD BELOW

I stopped breastfeeding at 3months pp (supply diminished) since then I have had strange periods some last a day some a couple more almost always so light I barely need pad. Which was strange to me but this past week maybe a couple days more even I started what I though to be my normal pp period it was heavier but still kept stopping and starting today I woke up to a huge long clot followed with a couple more clots and I’m bleeding very heavy. I saw to expect clots that could be quarter size but to call for anything bigger than a quarter.

Those had have had your period return is that something you would say would warrant calling my ob? I have to ask because my insurance just renewed and the pandemic has my husband on ther verge of losing his job his pay was cut and we are barely scrapping buy this appointment has to be an emergency at this point.
