Has anyone tried Abcs of Sleep with Taking Cara Babies?

My 1 year old is still not sleeping through the night, and now he’s even regressed to crying until we give him a bottle. Last night he drank two! And was up 2-3 times crying his hardest. I’m pregnant again due in August and the idea of having two babies up all night is horrifying. Has anyone tried this class? Did it work?

I have the class but haven’t tried it. My baby has never slept through the night and cries so hysterically and holds her breath. I just haven’t had the heart to sleep train. And I love sleeping with her, but this waking all night thing is getting OLD. I’m thinking of sleep training over the holiday break since I’m off work for 10 days. I’m not pregnant but if o was I would def do it!!! You need to get some sleep!

Our 1 year old daughter has never slept through the night. She is still drinking 2-3 bottles a night. The dr suggested we start giving her water at night. I have heard that program is life changing. I am considering it also

We did taking cara babies when my daughter was around 8 months old and she’s been sleeping through the night ever since! Before we sleep trained she was the most awful sleeper. She was waking up multiple times a night and I literally had to hold her for all her naps during the day. Totally worth it IMO

I’m not familiar with Cara babies but we had a lot of success with Mom’s on Call and baby girl has been sleeping through the night since 2 months old.  Good luck with whatever sleep training method you choose.

I haven’t done it. But, with our first kiddo my husband had to get involved. If I was around she would want to nurse and I was literally up HOURLY. I snapped one day and was sitting on her floor sobbing along side with her because neither of us slept in a year (she was always an awful sleeper). She finally weaned at 13.5 months but still was getting up hourly. My husband ended up dealing with her at that point and would hold her screaming (I can’t handle CIO). She’d fall asleep. And literally a week of doing this she started sleeping better (up 1x a night). She is now 4yrs and randomly wakes up hysterical for literally no reason, but such is life I guess lol. This baby gets up 1-2x a night to nurse. She’s not consistent. I wish I had better advice... does he act the same if your husband tries? I almost think there is a growth spurt during this leap bc Tinsley has been eating an insane amount and acting like I never nurse her.

Havent tried it, but i think its closer to the ferber method, but i could be wrong. Ferber doesnt work for us because she just escalates. The only thing that works for us is leaving her in a room to cry until she is asleep, which takes an hour. I absolutely hate it, but she started sleeping solid stretches and would only wake up once to eat. We stopped doing it, because like any other method of sleep training she started getting anxiety around bedtime or to go into her room to get changed or to do her diaper. We decided waking up in the night and rocking her to sleep for naps and bedtime was 100% more worth it than her having anxiety around her room or sleep. I have also heard amazing things about it as well and we toom the newborn class and the 3-4 month classes and loved them.

Sleep regression is normal at a year. Also I’ve never met anyone who sleeps through the entire night without stirring at least once.

I have no advice. But I’d be curious if the class is worth it! Unfortunately I created a bear and bed share. And struggling to get him out of the bed. We were doing super good for awhile but then he got sick. And now he literally screams bloody murder if he’s not by us. But he’s usually a good sleeper with us. But lately he hasn’t been. I’m expecting baby #2 in May. This mama needs sleep and her bed back 😅

I took her first class when our guy was a newborn and I think it really helped. I would definitely give it a shot. But I’m also very passionate about sleeping so it is really important to me. Lol

My baby had been sleeping through the night for months! Did fine through every other leap, regression whatever. 
But his 1 year regression or whatever has blown that up. He’s impossible to get down, and wakes up a million times a night. 
We’re coming up on 2 weeks of this and I’m about to lose my mind.
