One year old obsessed with breastfeeding

My baby just turned one and we are in a leap, but she’s never reacted like this to leaps before - extremely clingy (wants to be on me all the time) and most of the time also wants to feed. She pulls at my top until she gets what she wants.

She’s having 3 solid meals a day plus snacks when she’s awake and shows signs of hunger. She has been EBF since birth and hadn’t really cut down on her feeds, but this is getting ridiculous. She also still wakes up 1-2 times per night to feed. Is anyone else dealing with this? Is it just the leap? I’m not looking to wean her but was hoping she would start cutting down a bit - especially at night - rather than increasing her intake. She does seem to be drinking most of the time rather than just sucking.

I’m also looking forward to her being able to play independently again. She was great at it before!

Any positive stories from those of you who have come out the other side of this would be great!
