Friend criticized my hair

So i told her i just finished my hair she says how did i do it i said yarn braids she goes oh nobody wear those no more old lady i haven’t seen them since elementary... she was like im a trip:: i told her will i decided to put them n my hair I’m not trying to be like everybody else... u funny ... she replied oh lol i guess .. what y’all think

Do y’all think I’m over doing it or y’all wouldn’t care?
