When to give baby water?

My daughter is almost 6 months old and I feed her baby food already. But I was wondering when can I start giving her water in a bottle, and how much should I give her and how often?

1-2 oz every 24 hours once you start giving solid foods. So now.

I don’t keep track or anything but I’ll have a sippy cup and let her take sips out here and there

Technically babies don’t need water that young... we waited until 12mo with our first but according to the science, you CAN introduce it now if you really need to.

Just offer her a few sips here and there throughout the day for now.

Just start with an oz or so at mealtimes in a sippy cup. It's more to get them used to drinking from the cup rather than having the water. Her main source of fluids should still be formula or Breastmilk xx
