Husband stitch 😡

Anyone else have a natural birth and get "husband stitched"? I'm nearly 5 months PP and haven't been able to have sex without tear causing pain so I went to my OBGYN and as I suspected the doctor's who delivered my baby added too many stitches. So my options are between having my OBGYN cut things open, which would mean another 6 weeks of celibacy woth no garentee the skin wouldn't fuse together on its own or stretching things out at home which will involve quite a bit of tearing. I'm so firicken mad about this.
