how big of a clot is too big?

i’ve never had clots this big. this period has been bad with extremely painful cramps and heavy bleeding. i am on my first month of birth control so wondering if that has an effect (on the milli pill). the first picture is of a smaller clot this morning and the second is part of a clot from this afternoon.

That's definitely not just a blood clot but endometrial lining. If this isn't normal I would call my doctor or email them for their thoughts. 
I've never had a clot that big before. The biggest clots I've had are maybe the size of a dime, but those are far and in between. Most of my clots are just little strings or tiny balls. 
That would personally concern me and I would talk to my doc immediately. I can't say for certain what's normal or not -- we're all different.

I've had a clot that big before it's just uterine lining. I am sure if you call your doctor they will tell you it's normal

I’ve never had clots like that. You could always make an appointment with your doctor just to make sure everything is okay.
