Tested for group b strep on Monday and just got my results back. I tested positive so what does this mean for me and my baby? Calling my Doctor back about my results later today but I just want to know how things went for those that tested positive and gave birth. I don’t know anything about this so I really don’t know what to expect.

Can I pass this to my unborn baby?

Do they give you anything for it now?

What happens during birth if you test positive?

Did your baby get it? If they did what do they do?

Does this just go away after birth?
