I had a Christmas Eve Date

I have been talking to this guy I met in an online dating app. He lives about 4 hours away. But we have practically the same views on things. Similar interests, and pretty much the same long term goals.

I am a widow. Long story short, I got back with my exhusband, we were going to get remarried, he bought me an engagement ring, although we already decided we were definitely getting remarried, but he wanted to go ahead and give it to me. I told him to hold onto it, as he said he also wanted to present it a certain way. I told him I wasn’t going anywhere.

He died a weeks later.

His family told me they didn’t find the ring, but I found out that they did, and they didn’t want me to have it. It broke my heart because I know my love would have wanted me to have it.

So the guy I met in the dating app, he said he had gifts. He got my son a couple things too. One that really sweeped me off my feet was ring he gave me. It has opal he said that was for my late husband. And my son as well. And that no one will take it from me🥰❤️
