Advice please

I’ve been talking to this guy for a while, I really like him and he claims he feels the same about me. We are taking it slow but thinking about taking the next step. But I’m struggling with one thing, having to tell him I have herpes simplex 2. I usually get anxiety with telling people, But this feels different, I have MAJOR anxiety. I’m extremely educated about my body and I’m confident in what I know but I can’t seem to shake how to talk to him and what I should say. I would think because he’s older, he’d be more understanding but that’s not always the case. Please help😖
