Can you make random OB appointments?

So I fell Thursday night and the on call doctor said I should be fine as long as I’m not bleeding or cramping, but I’m still so nervous that something is wrong with the baby even if it’s not like the placenta. I don’t really wanna go to the hospital and sit there for hours when there isn’t really a reason other than me wanting the peace of mind, So I want to make an appointment Monday to at least get the heartbeat checked, like can you do that? This is my frist baby and my next appointment isn’t until January 8th. I’m just freaked out fr
