Can the period disk be used as birth control too?

Answer

Sounds good. It would certainly slow the sperm down and stop them from immediately entering the cervix. But sperm can stay alive inside a woman's body for up to 5 days, and you're only supposed to leave the menstrual disc in for a max of 12 at a time. I would not recommend using that as a means for bc, just use condoms
