Never? 3 pregnancies and they’ve never done this. I think this is mainly done when there’s a possibility of miscarriage or super early scans don’t line up with lmp dates and what not.

Mine checked, but only did a recheck if the levels came back low or you had other risk factors for miscarriage. Even when I was high risk for miscarriage, once they got a comparative result that showed the numbers were going up properly, they stopped checking. They only keep rechecking if your levels keep coming back questionable.

I had them checked twice last time but it was only because I had gone in so early (5 weeks) that they wanted to make sure everything was rising appropriately. This time I couldn't get an appt until 11 weeks and they checked my levels along with all the other standard blood tests and I won't need them checked again.

It really depends. Most don’t get this done unless requested or they’ve had a history of miscarriages. 
I only got HCG blood testing during my miscarriage and then the following pregnancy. 
Yes, they can only tell how much HCG you have through blood testing. 
I got around 4 or 5 tests during my miscarriage to make sure my levels went all the way back down. I only got 1 with the next pregnancy.
